Analytical Storytelling: clear and convincing communication for scientific staff
Date(s) - 30/11/2017
15:00 - 17:00
As a scientist, you are a specialist in your research area. You predominantly communicate with colleagues but also with a wider audience with a greater distance to your expertise or with different interests, such as an assessment committee in case of a grant application, a media journalist or a government policymaker. Despite the complexity of the subject, you wish to tell a clear and convincing story.
The Analytical Storytelling method combines together analytical and storytelling techniques in order for you to convey a clear and convincing story. You will be able to activate your audience, and your knowledge will lead to action!
The workshop will be held during session 2 and start at 3 PM. It is especially aimed at scientific staff. The language of the workshop is English.
The workshop is aimed at scientific staff members who also have priority on registration. Support and administrative staff are also welcome but will only be selected if any places are still available.
Trainer: Stijn Cornelissen is an entrepreneur, experienced adviser and instructor and will lead this workshop.
This event is fully booked.
